Adult Painting 101: Seven Week Series Diane Reincke Wednesday 7 - 9 pm 1/20 - 2/30 Fee: $130 Optional material fee $35 paid to teacher
This class is designed for every skill level. Whether you want to work in oil or acrylics, Diane will guide you step by step toward your goal. This seven week series incorporates lessons in color theory, color value and glazing and scumblings techniques all while you are producing a painting you would hang on your walls.

Space to Create Art Challenge Winter 2010
The Paper Bag Project
Space to Create is challenging artists of all ages to a creative art endeavor. The challenge is to incorporate a brown paper bag into a work of art that represents things that make you happy. It can be created by an individual or a team.
Rules and Guidelines: The overriding rule is that this must be fun. Entry Fee: one non-perishable item to be donated to Ballard Food Bank Size: Maximum size of project may not exceed 12” x 18” Timeline: Participants can pick up their brown paper bag at Space to Create starting on Jan. 14. Finished projects may be photographed and e-mailed or delivered to Space to Create by March 1st. Works of art will be displayed in our studio for the weeks of March 7 – 21st. Space to Create will also photograph and post entries on our web site (names will be used or not used according to artist/parent wishes).
Materials: We will provide participants with a brown paper bag (5” x 9.5”)

We have designed a kit for the beginning to intermediate sewer with a great imagination. Each kit includes directions, templates, fleece in 2 colors, embroidery thread, stuffing, buttons, a needle and pins. All you need is a pair of scissors to create a one-of-a-kind critter. Kits are available at Space to Create for $15 (tax included)
